Vicky Petrides

Vicky is a partner at the law firm. She has over 15 years’ experience in providing legal advice in the areas of taxation, estate planning, immigration and environmental law.  She provides, on a near daily basis, strategic advice to corporations and individuals on immigration law ranging from Cyprus temporary and permanent residency permits in all categories, including work permits for employees of companies with foreign shareholding to Cyprus citizenship, liaising with the key personnel in the government ensuring precise and timely advice.

Vicky advises also on the utilization of the Cyprus International Trust and trusts in general for high-value and complex estates, often containing business assets and offshore elements. As part of her work in this field, she advises on post-death planning and tax mitigation. She also acts for individuals and families, advising them on their lifetime tax and estate planning, preparing trusts to protect valuable assets for future generations.

Vicky additionally advises clients on all forms of intellectual property law including trademarks, copyright, passing off, patents and designs. She is experienced in brand protection, trade mark prosecution and trade mark oppositions before the Cyprus Intellectual Property Department of the Registrar of Companies of Cyprus, and the EU Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).  In addition, she acts for private companies of all sizes including start-ups, family offices and entrepreneurs wishing to use the Cyprus company as a vehicle for holding assets and in particular intellectual property rights. She advises on contractual terms for the sale of assets, shares, reorganizations, increase and reduction of capital, joint ventures and company dissolutions.
